Founded in 2016, Daze has raised over €20 million in equity and debt from top-tier investors. The Role
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist with a highly analytical and technical mindset to become a pillar of our HR department. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and the HR Lead to support Daze’s international expansion across Europe, treating our organization and team building as a high-performing system.
We believe that human resources should focus on strategy, scalability, and optimization, not on manual paperwork. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional — ideally with an engineering, economic, or technical background — who considers Artificial Intelligence and automation their daily superpowers to eliminate bureaucracy, optimize internal processes, and build strong international teams.
Key Responsibilities
International Talent Acquisition & Team Building: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for our offices in Italy, Spain, and France. You will be responsible for evaluating both technical skills and cultural fit, helping us design and scale strong teams abroad.
AI, Automation & HR Tech Stack: Proactively identify, test, and implement AI-driven solutions and HR software to automate resume screening, job postings, candidate sourcing, and data tracking.
Smart Administration & Operations: We don't want you to spend your days doing manual data entry. You will oversee basic administrative tasks (such as attendance tracking, interface with external payroll consultants, and basic compliance) by automating them through our HR tech stack to keep processes lean and error-free.
Onboarding & Employee Experience: Design and coordinate a seamless, data-driven onboarding and offboarding process for new hires across different countries.
Company Culture & Engagement: Take the lead in organizing our 2 main annual corporate events, bringing the entire team together to celebrate our milestones and strengthen our company culture.
What We Are Looking For
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering (Ingegneria Gestionale), Economics, Statistics, or other highly technical/analytical fields. We value a structured, process-oriented, and quantitative approach to problem-solving.
AI-Native Mindset: You naturally integrate AI, low-code automation (e.g., Make, Zapier), and modern HR tools into your daily workflow. You don't wait to be trained on new tech; you propose tools to optimize processes.
Startup/Scale-up Experience: 1–3 years of experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities can pivot quickly.
Recruitment & Assessment Focus: A strong ability to assess technical skills and a passion for finding the right talent for a highly technical product company.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Italian is mandatory. Knowledge of Spanish or French is considered a major advantage.
Hands-on & Proactive Approach: High autonomy, excellent communication skills, and a strong problem-solving attitude.
What We Offer
A truly dynamic and young environment: No clichés here, our average age is 30, and we offer flexible working hours coordinated within your team. We don’t care about dress codes; we just want you to feel comfortable.
Growth in a booming sector: Working in electric mobility today means being set up for long-term professional growth.
Top-notch workstation: A personal laptop, keyboard, mouse, and an external monitor of at least 27”.
Fuel for your days: Free coffee and snacks are fully provided by Daze and available in our kitchen.
Green charging: A dedicated charging station for your electric or plug-in hybrid car, powered by 100% renewable energy from our own photovoltaic system.
